We are currently looking for an In-House Legal Counsel to join our Legal team in the Perth Head Office in a Full-time capacity.

About the role

• Provide professional and prompt advice on all legal matters and guidance to the business on a range of corporate and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contract reviews and negotiations, financial products and services, leasing, and franchising.
• Assist the Senior Legal Counsel in dealing with litigation and disputes where necessary.
• Work closely with Senior leaders on strategic transactions for domestic and international operations.
• Build and maintain relationships across the business in support of the legal department’s interaction with other business units including external stakeholders.
• Support the Senior Legal Counsel and provide leadership and guidance to other in-house counsel where required.

About you

• Bachelor of Laws or equivalent degree.
• Current Australian Practising Certificate.
• 6+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house role.
• Experience and proficiency in corporate and general commercial law (advantageous).
